Steps to Save QR Code for Pinnacle to Home Screen on iPhone

  • Scan the Code:  Open your iPhone Camera app and point it at the QR Code

  • Open the Link: Tap the yellow link that appears over the QR code

  • Open in Safari: If the link doesn’t open in Safari, tap the share button and select “Open in Safari”

  • Add to Home Screen: In Safari, tap the SHARE button ( bottom menu bar )

  • Choose Option: Scroll down and select “Add to Home Screen”

  • Confirm: Name the icon and tap “Add”


Passport & Entry Requirements

  • Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

  • Double-check your expiration dates to avoid any last-minute issues.

  • Many nationalities can enter the UK without a visa for short visits, but requirements vary. Please check the UK Government website before travel.

  • U.S. passport holders are required to secure a UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to travel. The application is completed online and should be arranged in advance to ensure a seamless arrival in the United Kingdom.

    Effective January 8th 2025, all U.S. citizens transiting through or traveling to the United Kingdom for tourism,

    family visits, business meetings, conferences, or short-term study for 6 months or less will require an Electronic

    Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to travel if they do not have a UK visa or legal residency in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

    It costs GBP £10 to apply. Everyone traveling needs to get an ETA, including babies and children. You can apply for other people. You cannot get a refund after you apply.

    To apply you will need:

    • the passport you will travel with - not a photocopy or digital passport

    • access to your emails

    • a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay

    You will need to upload or take photos of the:

    • passport

    • face of the person applying

    You do not need to enter your travel details.

Currency & Payments

  • The local currency is the British Pound Sterling (GBP, £).

  • Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, including contactless payments and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  • ATMs are readily available across the city. Tipping is discretionary; in restaurants, a 12.5% service charge is often included on the bill.

  • London has an extensive public transport network, including the Underground (Tube), buses, trains, and taxis.

  • Contactless credit cards can be used directly on public transport.

  • Black cabs are iconic and can be hailed on the street; ride-hailing apps such as Uber are also available.

  • London is a safe city, but as in any major capital, please remain aware of your belongings, especially in crowded areas.

  • Queuing (lining up) is taken seriously.

  • Please stand on the right and walk on the left on escalators.

  • Shops are typically open from 10:00–18:00, with late opening on some evenings.

  • Many shops and attractions are open on Sundays with reduced hours.
